Kate qualified as a Dental Nurse in 1993 and worked in mixed NHS/Private practices for many years experiencing many different aspects of dental nursing. However, Kate wanted to be more directly involved with patient care and was accepted onto the Hygiene and Therapy course at Leeds Dental Institute, qualifying as a Dental Hygienist/Therapist in 2012.
Kate particularly likes working with nervous and anxious patients, using her calm and reassuring manner to put them at ease.
Kate keeps fully up to date with her continuing professional development, regularly attending courses on hygiene therapy and dental implant maintenance.
